PURPOSE

 The purpose of this band shall be to:

 1. Serve as a public and community relations unit of the Minneapolis Police department by developing, through music, a spirit of good will between the Police department and the general public. 

2. To further the musical education of and provide a hobby and a means of recreation for all members.
