The Minneapolis Police Band's main goal is to be of service to the city of Mineapolis and represent Minneapolis when the band is out of town. The band travels approximately 200 miles to play at non-politcal functions throughout the state with 90% of the engagement in Minneapolis. The band is made up of police officers, retired police officers and civilians. The band is supported by dues and funds earned from concerts. We receive no funds from the city of Minneapolis or the police department.
